Program Coordinator (Full-time, 40 hours/week) – Jacksonville Office
MCEC is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Onslow Teen Court program. Responsibilities include processing referrals, scheduling program activities, and case oversight. The Coordinator also has oversight over the youth volunteer program which involves recruiting and training youth volunteers. The Coordinator takes an active role in community engagement to promote program services and develop partnerships. Rate of pay: $16-$17 per hour. Mentor Program
MCEC is currently seeking volunteers in Sampson County to mentor youth in our Mentor Programs. The commitment is currently two hours per week and can be done virtually or in-person. All necessary materials will be provided. Serious candidates will need to complete a Department of Public Safety (DPS) Volunteer Application.

Board of Directors (Volunteer)
MCEC is currently seeking to add new members to our Board of Directors. We are particularly looking for individuals who reside in Craven, Onslow, Jones and/or the Sampson County areas. MCEC’s Board of Director members are responsible for overseeing the mission and purpose of the organization, as well as helping protect the organization’s financial health and programs.
We have a current need for individuals with a background in or experience with public service, law enforcement, accounting/finance, law or education. Interested parties should submit a resume and cover letter to Apply@MCEConline.org with “Board of Directors” as the subject line.
Advisory Council Member (Volunteer)
MCEC is currently seeking to add additional members to our Local Advisory Councils. Each of our (six) offices and (14) counties rely heavily on community support and fundraising. Advisory Council Members help promote the organization and programs through community awareness and implement local fundraising activities.
We have a current need for individuals with a background or experience with public service, law enforcement, accounting/finance, law or education. If you reside in any of the counties we serve, we would LOVE to have you join us.
